Hey Writers,
At their core, Foster Writing Circles are simple, 90-minute containers, where we check in for 15 minutes, write for an hour, and check out during the last 15 minutes. And yet, they have evolved into so much more.
Dylan Tweney is facilitating one called Writing @ Work for writers to reconnect with the more human, powerful side of their work writing.
Steph Soussloff is hosting one called The Alchemy of Anger where you’ll explore how to transform the raw energy of anger into clarity, purpose, and fiery desire that can transform both your writing and your life.
Amanda Sue Azadian is organizing one called Building Bridges to Better American Health Care where she’ll cultivate a nurturing space for writers in the healthcare industry to access their creativity and vision for a bridge to better patient outcomes.
Joel Christiansen is steadily holding down the fort for one called Simple + Consistent, which has been consistently meeting every Friday since January of this year.
And just last night, Dan Hunt, Minnow Park, Lola Martinez, and Amanda Sue Azadian hosted an in-person Writing Circle in New York (pictured above).
These Public Writing Circles are a great way to get a feel for the ~vibes~ at Foster before diving deeper into your writing practice during one of our cohorts (BTW, registration is still open for our October cohort with Kelly Wilde Miller. You can apply here).
I hope to see you around Foster soon!
