Hey Writers!
Last week’s Fosterverse Weekly about publishing versus expressing struck a chord with many of you. Yet, in the intervening week, I’ve wondered if it might’ve been construed as giving you an excuse to not publish your writing.
There’s immense value in publishing. It can provide a sense of accomplishment on a personal level. It can connect you to people you would have never reached otherwise, and those connections can turn into collaborations, business partnerships, and even friendships.
It can certainly feel lonely when you first start publishing—when hardly anybody is there to give you feedback, comment, or simply hit the like button. But, if you’re not publishing already, I encourage you to build up the courage to start.
It’s sad to think about all the amazing writing and art stuck in peoples’ heads because they were too scared to put it out there.
Writing within a community is one way to help, which we’re all about at Foster. You can take the first step by joining one of our free Writing Circles.

P.S. Be on the lookout for an exciting announcement coming up later this week!

…publishing as worthy in practice as writing in that it assists us in finishing or pausing and making space for next things…
