At Foster, we believe being in regular practice with your writing is essential. But that doesn’t mean you have to join a monthly cohort with multiple workshops each week in order to do so.
Next week, we’re kicking off a simplified cohort experience. We’re calling it Cohort 11: The Basics.
Practically, what this means is that Cohort 11 will consist of only…
An Opening Ceremony on Tuesday, August 6th
A Closing Ceremony on Friday, August 30th
That’s it, as far as live events go.
Additionally, you can expect weekly emails from me with links to past cohort recordings, a dedicated WhatsApp channel, a weekly Writing Circle, and you can opt into peer coaching.
While this may sound incredibly simple, we discovered earlier this year during Cohort 7 that this more basic flow can still be quite powerful. It provides a container with a well-defined beginning and ending for you to make a commitment to show up for your creative practice and express something you’re proud of by the end of the month.
The cohort costs $400 for the month and includes a full-fledged year-long Foster membership along with it, which means you could opt into higher-production cohorts in the coming months at no further charge.
